During his 15 years in the marketing, advertising and technology industries, Andy Bruce has shaped his career by harnessing technology to create customer-focused engagement solutions for some of the world’s biggest brand and retail organizations. His passion for creating exceptional consumer experiences, data-driven marketing and the global shift to mobile-centric communication was the inspiration behind The Mobile Experience Company.
Peter is an accomplished brand builder with over fifteen years experience working on a portfolio of leading CPG brands. After reconnecting with Andy Bruce and realizing they had a mutual appreciation for the power of harnessing digital technology to help marketers better understand when, how, and where consumers were connecting with their message, they collaborated to form MobileXCo. Peter is a father of two, an avid runner and even finds time to occasionally lecture at Schulich’s Business School and the Canadian Marketing Association.
Paul’s 50 years experience in the technology field began with 25 years at IBM, in finance and senior sales management roles. He later held senior management positions with Unisys and led an application development start-up company until its successful sale. In 1997, he founded Skipton Associates, which evolved into one of IBM’s most successful Canadian business partners. Paul’s recognition of the power of mobile and cloud-based technologies to more effectively solve business problems led to his investment in MobileXCo.
For 15 years, Kevin has been a trusted partner to his clients. He's spent the majority of his career at top digital agencies, growing, leading & delivering business on some of the world’s most recognizable consumer brands. Kevin takes great pride in establishing honest relationships, while helping clients harness mobile technology to deliver value to consumers & build measureable results for their business. Outside work, he loves time outdoors with his wife and two children, and is passionate about cycling and all winter sports.
Adam has been in the software industry for over 15 years, including roles in programming, testing and application design. At MobileXCo, Adam oversees all aspects of application design, development and delivery. He believes in automating things that can be automated and planning for the management of things that can’t be. Adam is one of the authors of ‘Beautiful Testing’, published by O’Reilly Media, 2009 and a regular speaker at major testing events around the world, including CAST, Agile and STAR East.
Joel is an experienced full stack developer, with extensive software engineering experience in both consumer-facing and business-facing applications. He takes great pleasure in applying his passion for new technologies, coding, and engineering to produce experiences that surprise and delight both consumer and clients alike.
At MobileXCo, Joel has primary responsibility for engineering and delivering the software that powers the award-winning experiences MobileXCo clients have come to rely on.
Patrique enjoys finding innovative ways to use web-based technologies for solving business problems. By keeping up to speed on the “latest and greatest” technologies and practices in the development community, he ensures MobileXCo remains at the cutting edge of the digital marketing world. He prides himself on writing efficient, concise, and portable code that can be counted on for stability and ease of implementation. Outside of his professional life, Patrique enjoys a variety of sports, including soccer, basketball, biking and running.
Katrina has experience as a marketing and graphic design professional. She enjoys exploring the creative strategies that drive consumers' behaviour. Katrina believe's that memorable experiences are a crucial component to brand/consumer relationships. When she's not caught in the middle of a creative process or strategic planning, she enjoys spending time with her family, at the gym, playing softball, volleyball, and running.
Sarah has deep CRM, loyalty and retail experience having worked both on the client and agency side for 25+ years. Throughout her career she has consulted with clients to help them build deeper relationships with their customers. She fundamentally believes that data is at the core of truly effective one-to-one strategies. She is excited to be part of the MobileXCo team to work with clients to help them leverage their data and incorporate mobile-centric communications to drive deeper loyalty with their customers.
Paul is a successful technology executive who has run services, customer success, account management, support and product management. He has always been a leader with a focus on sales and customer engagement. Paul most recently led Eloqua (marketing automation) as part of the executive team from $0 to over $100 million in revenue, through IPO and a successful acquisition for $957 million by Oracle. Now co-founder and CEO of Nudge, he is focused on helping salespeople build and grow the right business relationships from their large network of weak connections.
Dennis has deep experience in Canada’s high-tech, innovation, communications, professional services and financial services industries, having had the unique opportunity to directly manage and lead global teams up to 250 employees in various functions such as sales, services, support, marketing, finance, IT, executive and human resources. He held executive and senior positions with SHL Systemhouse®, Digital Equipment®Canada, Compaq®Canada, Intria-HP/CIBC®, Canada Life®, SOLCORP®, Open Text® Desire2Learn®, and Spark Innovation Centre®.
Tom brings over 40 years of executive experience to the MobileXCo Advisory Board. He held senior positions at Silverline Technologies, CIT Canada, New York Life, Manulife, Sun Life, and AT&T. He was the founder of GuestLogix Inc., a technology company which provides onboard merchandising, payments and retailing solutions for the airline industry. Tom led it to become a TSX-listed company and served as its President, CEO and Board Chair from 2002 to 2012. He has always enjoyed being at the forefront of major technology trends, and is pleased to share his vision and passion for technology with MobileXCo.
